So there you go. My blad head and my way of dealing with said bald head :)
I cut about 6 inches off my head and I'm not going to lie - it feels VERY strange. There was a lot of 'stress' sweating while I was getting it cut. I'm pretty sure I was sweating more than a 400 lb man on a hot, summer day.
I'll admit that the Smirnoff Ice once I got home helped. So did the 6 more I drank after that ;)
Our trip to Port Elgin (and Kate.. you've been there!) was great! It was far too cold and windy to sit on the beach, but we took a walk up the shoreline anyway. I put my feet in the water and decided that it was pretty chilly! Lake Huron certainly isn't know for it's similarities to a hot spring. We also enjoyed lunch at First Base, which has since changed names... so dumb. I'd have to say the train ride on the North Shore Railroad was by far the COOLEST thing we've done in a long time! There's nothing cooler than being toured around a beach in a little blue steam engine! YA!
My half-sister Lisa lives in Port Elgin now, so we spent the remainder of our afternoon hanging out with them. Pretty fly, I'll have to say! She and her boyfriend Kevin have a nice apartment downtown. We topped it all off with a nice dinner before heading home for the night. We'll definitely take them up on their offer of spending a night there soon!
I have some pictures from our journey, but the camera's in the car and Jay's sealing the driveway... so that would require me to walk to the car that's currently parked up the street.. and I'm not dressed. You see the problems here. :) I'll post 'em up later, taters!
I'm off - there's cleaning to be done and I'm looking like the one that's going to do it!

How adult of you two... sealing driveways and cleaning?! You're way more mature than we are - makes me wonder how the hell we made it out of the hospital with a baby!
Is Port Elgin where your g'parents lived?
Oh yeah, and cool haircut. But the look on your face is a little.. off........
=)
Yes... that would be correct!
